Time

Every document in the corpus that treats time as a load-bearing coordinate rather than a field on a record

A clock face returns the hand to twelve and the day does not return with it. A timestamp orders two events and says nothing about how far apart they are. A duration measures the gap and forgets which came first. Each representation preserves something and discards something else, and the word time covers all of them without distinguishing between them.

The work below approaches that from several directions and was written across several series, so it is gathered here by subject rather than by where it was filed. Papers not yet written are listed too, because a shelf is easier to read when its gaps are visible.

The Geometry of Time

The second walk — the space is behind us; now we move through it in time. Clock faces, spirals, decay, drift, coherence, and the helix: temporal embeddings as seen shapes, with the math arriving after. Continues The Geometry of Meaning.
